Meenakshi Amman Temple Sundareswarar or is a historic Hindu temple located in the holy city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is dedicated to the god Shiva – as Sundareswarar or Beautiful Lord and his consort Parvati in the form of Meenakshi. The temple is the heart, the root of the year 2500 the old city of Madurai.
