According to the World Tourism Organisation, Seven of the World’s most tourism-dependent nations are located in the Caribbean. It’s really rather splendid news then that the volume of tourist visits to the Caribbean’s Tropical Sky is increasing every year, and set to increase for some time. But troubles may be ahead, and there are questions about the quality of spending to be asked too.

The largest immediate issue for the Caribbean economy, especially holidays to Barbados (and other nations who depend on former colonial ties for a higher degree of British tourists) are the Air Passenger Duty rules passed down by the UK Government. Whilst hope of an outright U-Turn is minimal, Caribbean trade figures are so concerned that they’re actively appealing for the UK Government to change its policy in the March budget. Flying to the Caribbean under the new rules cost the UK traveller about £150 extra, so it’s unsurprising that there has been a fall off in numbers from the UK. The UK’s national VAT rise and recent GDP problems will on exacerbate the problem.

Worrying as this is, it’s perhaps simply a shift in source markets that may turn out to be more permanent. The numbers are because places like China are realising their potential as source markets. 23 million people visited the Caribbean in 2010, five percent up from the 22.1 million witnessed in 2009. It’s not just the annual family holidays that keep the Caribbean afloat Weddings Abroad are showing renewed vitality. However, analysts are noting that the increasing numbers aren’t necessarily meaning any improvements in revenue. Josef Forstmayr, Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association president, claims that ‘visitors and not spending as much’. People require holidays to the extent where, without fail, they’ll try to book themselves a week or so of quality time, regardless of cost. In tight economic conditions, they’re simply less likely to follow up this initial spend with as much extra activity that results in gain for local businesses. People go to the Caribbean to enjoy a grand asset that is also free for the taking: the climate. Since it’s impossible for local business to monetise the sun, it’s hoped that conditions will improve.

Flying Fears

Comments off

I’ve you’ve never had the chance to fly before you’ll be nervous first of all this get be rather intense at take off and landings, but neither worry I’m going to go over some commonly apparent flying fears in this article.

Generally scared

this often occurs with people who are flying for the very first time or who’ve never flown before.Millions of flights take to the skies year after years they could be taking Europeans on Antigua Holidays or Asian people on Vietnam holidays it’s irrelevant I’m just saying you never hear about the countless successful flights only the ones which suffer difficulties once every couple of years or so.The reason you are feeling distressed is the only Aviation related issue you’re exposed to via media sources.TV, radio and the internet.Ect is the the bad or troubled aviation news which you forget to realise happens only 0.02% of the time, so there’s no need to get wound up about something which isn’t likely to ever happen whilst you’re on board.

Will get altitude sickness?

Maybe it happens to the best of us, planes fly 38,000 feet above sea level but pressurize the cabin at 8,000 so it’s generally not that bad and Most people won’t even noticed a change, there’s little Bags in front of you so you can Barth in, I know it’s not very nice and everyone around you will hate you but someone has to do it at sometime and it’s more than likely you won’t be the only person in the cabin to do so, just hope you’re on a short haul flights not a London to Havana on Cuba holidays as the acidulous smell may get quite distinctive.

Do I trust the pilotHe might be intoxicated

Kids and adults alike look up to and respect them, they also have lots of money and women love men in uniform! Pilots are smart…so take into consideration that they have to be smart to even become pilots and I highly doubt a smart person expose would expose anyone there responsible for to any sort of danger.

Game sets

Comments off

The majority of us have played video games which have been in set in a real location but do you feel the creators captured the realistic quality s of the area such as climate, area and atmosphere?.

Grand theft auto, Vice City : the most successful of all the GTA games in my eyes vice city was based in the mid 80′s and perfectly captured the atmosphere of Miami in the mid 80′s which was the basis in which the game were set, rockstar the creators on the game managed to include the latino culture and musical genres which dominated the city of Miami at period of time.

The city was designed full of high-rise towers which were kept on key, but what really took the biscuit was the beach which is very similar to the real Miami Beach, Long stretches of sand, Life gaurd posts, and hundreds of tourists on Miami Holidays.

Even though GTA san Andreas was meant to be based in Los Angeles it didn’t really take on many similarities apart from mock up of Las Vegas in which you could run up the sides of the Luxor pyramid shaped hotel which I found very amusing, although the city seem much more fancy and atmospheric in real life than it did in the game as I’ve been there on Las Vegas Holidays.

Red dead redemption This game was made on the basis of Spaghetti Western Cow Boys which were as hard as nails. The period and area in which this game was based was around the 1800th century when men were actually men, the set was probably in one of the south western arid states of the US like Texas.

the best thing is you can live the red dead dream and become a real life cowboy Ranch Holidays even though venturing the deserts at night hunting for villains and crooks is highly unlikely the experience would be fantastic!

Tivoli Gardens (or simply the Tivoli) is a famous amusement park and pleasure garden in Copenhagen, Denmark. The park was inaugurated on August 15, 1843 and is the second oldest amusement park in the world when Klampenborg Dyrehavsbakken nearby. Tivoli’s founder, Georg Carstensen (b. 1812 – d. 1857), standard a letter from five years to create Tivoli telling King Christian VIII that “when people accept fun, do not think about government.” The monarch’s license to use Carstensen approximately 15 acres (61,000 m²) of the fortified glacis outside Vesterport (West Gate) at yearly rent of 945 kroner. Consequently, ahead 1850, Tivoli was outside the city, approachable through Vesterport.

The park is best known for its wooden roller coaster, or as about call Rutsjebanen coach Bjerg (Mountain Track), reinforced in 1914 in Malm. The first opened in May 2009 Tivoli, the new thrill ride Vertigo, a flight simulator, where the pilot is the pilot of his own plan.
Tivoli is always evolving without losing sight of its original charm and tradition. As Georg Carstensen said in 1844, “Tivoli will never, so to speak, ready,” revealed a bit ‘more than a hundred years later, when Walt Disney said that the Tivoli-inspired theme park, “Disneyland will not be never complete, as long as there is imagination left in the world. ” Walt Disney during a trip abroad with his wife Lilly visited Tivoli Gardens. Walt was so impressed with the Danish entertainment park, he at once decided to Disneyland should groped to emulate its “glad and relaxed, casual air.”

Celebrity Weddings

Comments off

Because celebrities are consistently in the eyes of the public when they plan to get married they have to keep it a dead secret to avoid media attention, Another factor of being a celebrity is that they have tons of money to throw away, combining these two points the wedding locations are usually extravagant, exotic and expensive.

If you were a celebrity where would you book your big day? I’d personally have a Maldives Weddings because of the beautiful aquatic views, basically there are there so many places which are perfect for celebrities to tie the knot!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner ok a massive celebrity couple as we all know between the couple they have millions of dollars in the bank which needed to be spent up! Which country did they select out of the vast catalogue of beautiful countries?

The Tropical Turks and Caicos Islands, unheard of by many its one of nature’s true gems, Iv’e personally visited the country and loved it!! The islands take the word tropical to a whole new level; The Island’s are unspoilt compared to many other Caribbean destinations like “Jamaica”

Pillow soft white sand, Crystal clear waters, and lush tropical landscapes I think they made the right choice getting married in this beautiful country, one if not the best location for Caribbean Weddings.

His Royal Highness Prince William and his Fianc©e Kate Middleton – There not Married yet and it’s not happening anywhere tropical in fact the service is being held in London, im over joyed by the occasion as its counted as a public holiday which means a day off of work. Prince William extended his marriage invitation to Kate while on a volunteering expedition in Kenya; i personally think it’s great that prince William and hisfianc©eare carrying on the charitable work of his amazing and charitable mother.

It’s rather a shame they didn’t get married right there on the spot! Kenya Weddings are superb and offer an excellent wedding service which a deeper spiritual aspect, Kenya has many luxurious resorts which would be perfect for a royal honeymoon.

The Niagara falls are one most famous water falls in the world making them a paradise for Dare devils alike. Many Holiday makers usually visit the Niagara falls on their Canada Holidays. Many men have died playing with the terrifyingly high water fall (53m) dare devils all over the world dream of plucking up the courage to throw themselves over the huge falls. Even though the thought of going over the falls is unbearable to most men, a few revolutionaries have taken the plunge and survived the self inflicted ordeal coming out the end triumphant and famous.

the most famous of all the dare devils was Mrs Annie Taylor the first survivor of the falls, she was a school teacher who wanted a new life of fame and fortune and the only way she could imagine doing it was by throwing herself over the edge of the monstrous horse shoe falls ( These are the larger of the Fall located in Canada you may find excursions on Toronto Holidays). At the Old age of 65 she climbed into a wooden barrel with her pet black cat and was rowed out into the Niagara river and let loose, 17 minutes later she was flung over the lip of the giant falls plunging towards her certain death. When the wooden Barrel which hardness Annie Appeared on the waters surface at the bottom of the falls in one piece screams of excitement shrouded in the air, the barrel was then dragged ashore to find Old Annie well and alive! Annie was dizzy, confused and felt slightly concussed.

An English man Charles Stephen wasn’t so lucky he attempted the same stunt but fell out the bottom of his barrel on the way down, only his arm was ever found.

If taking a visit to the Niagara falls isn’t up your street, Canada still has so much more to offer Canada Rail Tours Throughout the scenic landscapes and into the secluded ski resorts and hiking towns such as whistler.

Auckland what a city… this amazing city is the largest in the country with a fair population of 1.4 million, the majority of the people are Polynesian which means the city has a big influence of Asian culture. Mercer rated Auckland as the 4th best place to live in the world and I can easily see why as prices are reasonable the city is clean and the style of living is relaxed. The city has an oceanic climate (32 s/ -2.5 Celsius) due to its geographic low level positioning and it being wedged between the Hauraki Gulf and the Pacific Ocean. expect to have lots of fun and adventure on Auckland Holidays There’s many adventures to get involved in and great sights to see just like the huge sky tower or the volcanic craters and geezers dotted around the outskirts of the city. Being a photographer on various cruise boats for several years, I managed to meet a great variety of people. Something that not many people seem to understand is that living in a boat is very different to living in a flat or a house and it has a big impact on people’s social behaviour. People seem to be more open and relaxed as admittedly they will accept the fact that the boat is where everything happens from developing a new friendship and flirting with someone to breaking up and divorcing!

A luxury boat that is moving into the seven seas is like a small floating city. One factor many people overlook at is the fact that on board there aren’t just passengers and holiday-makers but also members of staff that have to stay on the boat for long periods of time. It is strictly forbidden for those people to develop social relationships with the passengers but sometimes it is inevitable.

A common person to find in a luxury boat is about 60 years of age, wealthy and usually retired. They all come from a wide range of different professions but with a few exceptions most of them were very successful professionally. Doctors, lawyers, publishers, editors, journalists, and civil engineers coexist with wealthy shop owners, entrepreneurs and tradesmen. That signifies that high education is not really one of the main factors, although a high income is.

Nevertheless, there is always a smaller percentage of people who are considerably having less but would love to try a luxury cruise. Those are people who have read about those luxury cruises and are really curious to find out how the experience is like. Even though I gained most of my experiences on Silversea Cruises boats where I worked, other colleagues that used to work on Oceania Cruises and Cunard Cruises have witnessed similar incidents.

When it comes to sports, golf is definitely the number one while cricket and polo are also popular. Taking up a luxury cruise for many people could be a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience but it is definitely worth it..
