The Harbor Bridge is a giant made of steel.
Awesome is just the view from the arches of the Bridge: The Bridge Climb offers an enterprise-managed and secure hiking above and below the bridge, when you reach the top of the arches and you have a 360 degree view of the harbor. The tour lasts three and a half hours including an introductory training for adults and costs AUD 160 to 225 (children under 16 pay 100 to 175 AUD). At the highest point souvenir photos are shot, you can buy after the trip. To carry a separate camera is not possible. In the entrance to Bridge Climb is a gallery with pictures of various well-known visitors.
Royal Botanic Garden
The Botanical Garden is located at Mrs Macquarie’s Road and is well served by public transport. It is open daily from 07.00 clock until sundown. Daily at 10:30 Clock Free Guided tours available. Similarly, a self-guided audio tour exists. The Botanical Garden is beautiful and a green oasis in the middle of the city.
Sydney Opera House
The architectural masterpiece by Danish architect Jørn Utzon has become the symbol of Sydney. Taronga Zoo is a zoo with many well-made domestic animals, which would be on an outback tour only very rarely or never seen. “Taronga” stands for “beautiful view” and you get in a visit to the zoo offered the same in any case. Even if the admission is not entirely favorable to compensate the view of the skyline of Sydney in any event and a visit is definitely worthwhile. You can reach the zoo is best if you take a ferry from Circular Quay.
