Can Europeans Challenge The Asian In Trampoline In Olympic?
Yes it might be early to say who will take the trampolines games gold in London 2012, all I am trying to do is create the buzz that Olympics is coming home. After 1966′s World cup this will certainly be the second biggest event held in UK. This will be a fantastic year of sports as European Championship will be help in Ukraine and Poland on the same year.
In 2000, trampolinining became a part of Olympic games, in which gymnasts from different countries perform their acrobatic skills. Some common acrobats are somersaults and twists. This might even be one of the hardest jumps on the trampolines. When Russia were Soviet Union they used to rull gymnastics but now China have taken full control of gymnastics. Last Olympics China beat USA to take home most gold medals. China won 51 gold medals in the whole Olympics whereas USA in second place only won 36. They just blew all the other nations away, fantastic achievement from China.
Hence the kids in China are practising trampoline jumps on whatever size they can afford from 8ft trampolines to 10ft trampolines. It’s fantastic to see the children of the nation taking up on the sports which has only been in frame for few years. The performance of the country in the Olympics is what driving these kids to learn these sports.
In UK kids are only focused on playing football and some play cricket occasionally. Even if they start from when they are kids when they get to the national level they cannot perform as we have seen from this year’s World cup. I am not sure who is this down to but this is not right. Though we have to realise that China has massive population so they will eventually find talented people for different games. I believe they will do well again in London and perhaps take more than 51 gold medals.
